The Memorial Service at First Baptist Richardson, Texas was quite a tribute to James Bond and the life he lived and the people he touched. He is and will be greatly missed but the seeds he planted in churches and in his family will live on forever. We are going to make this the last entrance into the blog and we do it with much thanks to all of you who have written sweet notes on the blog and sent those precious cards and letters. They have all been so meaningful to my heart and life and gave me great encouragement and hope. I am going to try to write many of you personally to say thank you and to keep in touch. I hope you will keep in touch with me as well. I continue to ask for your prayers as God directs my life without Buddy Bond. Thank you again. Marion Bond

August Update

Over the past several weeks we have had many good days and a few bad days. We have been blessed by all of our sweet family and friends who have taken the time to visit, bring food, call and send letters. James is very weak now and based on our doctor's advice, we are asking for no visitors at this time. We continue to covet your prayers tonight and in the days to come. We know that God is in control and we are trusting in His plan.
