Friday, July 2, we went to Presbyterian hospital today to get fluid removed. At firt the doctor did not see enough fluid and was hesitant to do the precedure but looked from another view and decided to do it. He took about a quart of fluid off his abdomen. He made it in and out of the hospital okay on his own. He is extremely weak and moves very slow. We had lunch and he came home and went to bed.
There may be some improvement after having the procedure but I am having a hard time seeing it. We really dont have any good news to report.
I want to say thank you to all the friends who are writing and sending cards. You are so precious and so dear to think of us. What a treasure we have in all those friendships. I sure remember some fun happy times. Thank you again and we love all of you. Marion Bond
Mrs. Bond-
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. I do wish I had the magic wand, the twitch in my nose, or the right words to make this all go away and a healthy Mr. Bond to wake up in the morning and ask for a hearty breakfast and begin to work circles around you all day long.
Just know that you are not alone and if you need anything--it is all a call away!
My prayer tonight is that Mr. Bond is able to wake up in the morning and feel a little bit better and that a peace that passes all understanding will fall on each of you as you walk through this valley.
I love you!

Brother & Mrs. Bond,
ReplyDeleteYou guys are an inspiration to us all in how you have lived your lives. Growing up looking into Brother Bond's eyes was like looking straight in to the eyes of the Lord. Through all hard times a prayer from him was sometimes the only thing that could comfort. I know that I'm only one of many that has felt the unconditional love of your family. We are all going to be returning the favor and lifting Brother Bond up in prayer!
Love,
Brant Bennett
